The Zoar Presbyterian Youth is selling custom soywax candles to support United Christians International as UCI expands its important work among the people of Haiti who desperately need our love and support.
The following is a sample of the items on the UCI "wish list" for which our fundraising efforts will help to make possible:
- A new cistern for the tree nursery and for community use.
- A large Diesel Generator.
- A large PVC water tank and connections to help with watering the tree nursery.
- Nursery and gardening items: wheelbarrows, spades, rakes, watering cans, and hoses.
- Vaccines/ medication for the animals.
- Laptop computers for training.
- Resource books in French/Kreyol for training
- Benches and Desks
- The addition of two rooms within the New Worship center for educational purposes
- Batteries for Solar Energy
- Latrines and metal roofs.
